Tim has been in EMS since 1976. He earned a Bachelors in Arts and a Masters in Public Administration from UCCS. As an EMS advocate, Tim is very active in promoting EMS issues in many local, state and national forums to enhance EMS operations and improve financial sustainability.
James is affectionately known by most within the community as “Tiny”. James has been involved with emergency medicine since 1991 and UPRHSD since 2008. James’s favorite saying is “Do not waste your time learning the tricks of your trade, instead master your profession”.
Dave has been with the District since 2000. He has been in EMS for 34 years and has been a paramedic for 22. He is heavily involved in EMS education and leadership. Dave has been married for 20 years and has 3 children. He is active as a Boy Scout Leader and enjoys canoeing and woodworking.
Data Systems Manager
Arren certified as an EMT in 2016 and has been with UPRHSD since 2017. She received both the Plains to Peaks RETAC and State of Colorado EMS Professional of the year award in 2021. Arren enjoys watercolor painting, growing plants and gardening, cooking, hiking, reading, and spending time with family.
Teresa has been with UPRHSD since 1994. She handles bookkeeping duties, HR, and various other roles. Teresa enjoys rafting, single track mountain biking, rock and 14er climbing, and traveling the world with her husband…”travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer”
Kara has been in EMS since 2012 and an employee at UPRHSD since 2014. In addition to being a paramedic at UPRHSD, she manages all of the company’s durable medical equipment, the MHAP Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement, and is a representing Peer Supporter.
A Shift Captain
Dan has been in EMS 2004 and with UPRHSD since 2013. Dan is state endorsed as a Critical Care Paramedic and a Community Paramedic. Dan's degree is in Emergency Services Administration and enjoys running, fishing, mountaineering, and family time at home with his family.
Ryan has worked in EMS in various rolls in El Paso County and Teller County for the past 13 years. I enjoy the outdoors and working in the mountains. I love hanging out with my two beautiful children and an amazing wife. I also have a passion for building construction, I am always doing home renovation projects.
A Shift Lieutenant
Matt started my EMS journey in 2012 as an EMT Pueblo and then went on to earn my Paramedic in 2016. I enjoy spending time with my family and getting out on my motorcycles any chance I get. I absolutely love this getting to serve this amazing community.
B Shift Captain
Chad started his EMS career in 1996 & joined UPRHSD as a full time Paramedic in 2007. He currently serves as the vehicle maintenance coordinator/ disaster preparedness coordinator. Chad was awarded the Plains to Peaks RETAC Career ALS Provider of the Year & the 2015 Colorado State Paramedic of the Year.
Katie has been in EMS since 2009 and at UPRHSD since 2015. Katie sits on the UPRHSD Quality Management Committee, and represents UPRHSD at the Regional Quality Management Committee. She helps train new and part-time crew members. Katie and her family are Colorado Springs, CO natives.
B Shift Lieutenant
Molly has been in EMS since 2000 and has been with UPRHSD since 2019. She is the point of contact for American Heart Association classes. Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, cooking, and working in the garden.
C Shift Captain
Janeé has been in EMS since 2005. She has been full time with UPRHSD since 2017. She is a transplant from the bayous of Louisiana and enjoys the mountain life with her family.

Kaylinn became a paramedic in 2017 through Pikes Peak Community College and was an EMT for 3 years prior that. I am a Colorado native and love living and working here. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve this community.
