Did you know…

To increase the life of our ambulances, Ute Pass Regional Health Services District repowers our rigs every 200,000 miles or sooner if required. To repower an ambulance cost around $50,000.00. To replace an ambulance is near $165,000.00. That is a direct savings of over $115,000.00. In most cases a repower includes rebuilding the power train (engine and transmission), repainting and applying new reflective striping, and replacing electrical and warning systems as needed.
